Re-Membering Church is a journey of return for inactive Catholics. Some who left the Church as young people are now seeking an adult faith life. Others divorced and remarried and left the Church because they thought there were no options. Other Catholics, alienated by earlier experiences, left the Church and now wish to educate themselves to the changes in the Church over the last thirty years. The purpose of Re-Membering Church is to welcome fully initiated Catholics who have been away from the active practice of their faith.
We offer the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).
RCIA is a process that introduces the Catholic Faith to seekers who are interested in exploring Catholicism. We also prepare adults who have decided to join the Catholic Church by way of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
You may Inquire about RCIA through the local parish of your choice.
In addition to RCIA, we offer programs for returning and inactive Catholics, such as "Landings" or "Catholics Returning Home", which are available. Inquire about these programs through the local parish of your choice. You may also find helpful information on the "Once Catholic" website which you can visit at www.OnceCatholic.org.
