Cursillo

To explain Cursillo to someone who has never experienced Cursillo is at best, difficult. Often, for those who have experienced Cursillo it is still somewhat mystifying. Not because the Cursillo Movement is a "secret" organization, but because the mystery is God. No one can fully explain how God touches each person in God’s unique way. For more Information contact: Ms. Penny Greene.

ACTS Retreats

is a three day and three night Catholic lay retreat presented by fellow parishioners.  Retreats for men and retreats for women are given separately.  Talks and activities during the retreat focus on Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service.  For more information email or call:  Ana Martinez at 223-7352.

Engaged Encounter

provides marriage preparation primarily for couples who are planning to marry in the Catholic Church. However, couples who are not Catholic are also welcome to attend one of our weekends. Weekend date: October 10-12, 2008. For information contact John and Jane Erkmann.

Marriage Encounter

Worldwide Marriage Encounter’s Mission of renewal in the church and change in the world is to assist couples and priests to live fully intimate and responsible relationships by providing them with a Catholic “experience” and ongoing community support for such a lifestyle. Retrouvaille of Alaska

Retrouvaille is a lifeline for struggling married couples.  This is a seven-week program beginning with the weekend and six follow up sessions.  During the weekend, a series of in-depth presentations are given to you and other couples like yourselves. After each presentation, you will have a chance to reflect on it by yourself, then discuss it with your spouse in complete privacy. The weekend is not a spiritual retreat, not a sensitivity group, not a seminar, nor is it a social gathering. You will, however be encouraged, to put the past behind you and start 'rediscovering' one another again. All names are kept in strictest confidence.  Weekend dates: TBD  Call 1-800-470-2230 or contact Tim and Julie Ebben.

Natural Family Planning
Natural Family Planning programs emphasize communication and commitment among couples, qualities necessary also for healthy relationships. The practice of Natural Family Planning fosters the same character strengths necessary for marital fidelity and long-lasting marriage.
